Peugeot Australia will offer a range of ‘delicious’ deals until the end of June (or until stocks last) across its highly-awarded hatch and SUV ranges.

What is not lost in translation are deals offering up to $5,000 of additional specification at no added cost on hatch models or a substantial 7-year, unlimited kilometre warranty with roadside assistance coverage on Peugeot’s SUV range.

A free upgrade from the Active to Allure model for the 208 and 308 hatch ranges headlines the offer, plus 308 hatch customers will also enjoy over $5,000 of additional specification at no extra cost including:

  • Active Blind Spot Monitoring and City Park (self-park)
  • Sports seats clad in half Alcantara and leatherette
  • Keyless entry with electric folding mirrors
  • 17-inch alloy wheels
  • Front parking sensors
  • LED headlamps
  • Electronic park brake

208 hatch customers taking advantage of the free upgrade gain more than $3,000-worth of features at no additional cost including;

  • Satellite navigation
  • Dual-zone, climate control air-conditioning with cooled glovebox
  • Automatic headlights and windscreen wipers
  • Leather-trimmed steering wheel with 3D-mesh cloth interior
  • Chrome exterior highlights package with ‘equaliser’ grille and cornering lamps

All 208 and 308 models feature standard Autonomous Emergency Braking and are powered by a powerful 1.2L turbo-petrol engine paired with a six-speed automatic transmission.

Peugeot SUV customers have not been forgotten either with a 7-year warranty that includes 7 years roadside assistance free for all 2017-build 2008, 3008 and 5008 SUV models.

Peugeot Australia Managing Director, Anouk Poelmann, said Peugeot’s ‘delicious deals’ are aimed at delighting and enticing customers to the French marque.

“Only recently Australia was captivated by a certain visiting French dignitary and, much like his visit, these deals will entice customers with their unquestionable value while delighting them with the extra little luxuries with which the French are synonymous,” Poelmann said.

Peugeot’s ‘delicious deals’ are available until June 30, or while stocks last.

Subaru has revised pricing, added extra value and repositioned the Model Year 2015 Impreza range. There’s also an exterior facelift, improved interior quality and enhanced infotainment across the entire range. The big news is the further sharpening of Impreza pricing, already reduced by $500 in January when the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) with Japan came into effect. Recommended Drive Away Pricing (RDP) of the entry level Impreza 2.0i model drops a further $500, to $22,990* drive away, meaning a $1000 price drop since December. But the biggest and most significant decrease comes in the range topping Impreza 2.0i-S. Previously priced at $30,990** Manufacturer’s List Price (MLP), the 2.0i-S dropped $500 in January due to the FTA, and now comes down a further $3090 to an MLP of $27,400 – a price drop of $3590 since December.

Another highlight of the 2015 range story is the dropping of the mid-spec 2.0i-L model. This is replaced by the 2.0i Premium, which includes leather trim interior and steering wheel, reverse camera and fog lights over the entry level model. Subaru Managing Director, Nick Senior, said: “We expect the 2.0i Premium to become our new volume model. It includes a host of additional equipment at an extremely competitive price. There are few small car alternatives that have leather at such an attractive price. “We also anticipate significant interest in the 2.0i-S, which is a comprehensively equipped small car – sunroof, leather and premium infotainment including factory fitted Sat Nav. “A reduction of 11.5 per cent on the December pricing is massive and we hope to attract new customers to this variant.

“The small car market is incredibly competitive and these revisions to Impreza pricing highlight its tremendous value, especially when you factor in our five-star occupant safety, Subaru reliability, durability and engineering, and the great retained value of our vehicles.” Across the range, the advanced exterior design of the Impreza has been altered with a changed grille, headlights and fog light cluster. The combination of these changes give the Impreza a sportier, more aggressive front fascia. Inside the Impreza a number of changes have been made to improve the overall quality, including all-new infotainment and enhancements. “Factor in these key infotainment changes and cabin refinements across the range and you have an impressive Impreza package, testament to Subaru’s made-in-Japan quality and our DNA including All-Wheel Drive and Boxer engine,” said Senior.

Among the MY15 Impreza highlights:

  • All-new infotainment – new level of onboard information and entertainment
